Help Waimea Canyon Middle School collect Federal Impact Aid $$$

This year, WCMS is participating in the Federal Survey online pilot. Please complete the online survey by December 4.
• Each survey helps give an accurate count of Hawaii’s federally-connected
students and validates eligibility of military impacted schools for federal
grants & programs.
• YOUR SURVEY = $$$ for HI SCHOOLS!
• Federal Impact Aid generates $40 million a year for school transition
centers, curriculum materials, and facilities.

Stop Flu At School 2020 Has Been Moved

This years Stop Flu at School Program has changed, but you can still participate and protect your keiki. If you have turned in a consent form to our health aide, please call 808-241-3410 to make an appointment. SFAS clinics will be located at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall and Hanapepe Neighborhood Center.

Return to Learn survey for secondary students and families

The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) is currently seeking feedback from middle school students and families to learn more about first quarter experiences of the 2020-21 school year. This feedback is essential as we continue to assess system progress, identify areas where additional support is needed and coordinate resources.

20.21 Parent Letter - 2nd Qtr Announcement/SCC 9-18-20

Last week Governor Ige and Superintendent Kishimoto announced that Hawaii Public Schools will create plans for a gradual transition to blended learning models. For the 2nd quarter, Waimea Canyon Middle School along with all secondary schools on Kauai will continue with the current Distance Learning Model until further notice.
